This artwork represents the dire consequences of mass media especially to the younger generation. We're bombarded everyday with a thousand images, a thousand videos etc that dictates how we should behave, look and even feel towards certain topics. That in itself is already dangerous as it favors one perspective in which everyone is supposed to conform to. Here the brain in the cup represents a mind clouded with the essence of mass media which becomes the water or soil that creates this haunting flora. Within the tv everything is colorful and is about to affect the baby/infant representing the ubiquitous and immersive nature of said media. However beyond the tv, the flower is wilting, showing the dangers of blindly following such culture.
